A pension for singles is a retirement pension and is not as high as a family pension.
It can be paid to:

• someone who is married, provided that the spouse enjoys some income-replacing benefit or exercises an activity different from an authorized activity
• someone who is not married
• a widow or widower
• someone who is separated or divorced, provided that the spouse is not entitled to part of the pension
