Once your pension file is put together (on request or officially), the NISSE will take a decision.
That decision is twofold:

• assignment of your pension
• payment of your pension
  
  
  

Together with the pension decision, the NISSE will issue a certificate, which is to be sent to your health insurance fund as soon as possible.
On the basis of this certificate, the health insurance fund will determine the conditions for medical care. A copy of this certificate can be requested from the RIZIV (National Institute for health and disablement insurance).
