If your self-employed activity does not produce the desired result, you can decide to suspend it
voluntarily. In expectation of another professional activity you can claim the continued insurance. That insurance guarantees your rights under the social statute for a maximum term of two years. This maximum term can be extended up to 7 years if it will make you reach the retirement age.
