As an artist you can ask the Commission of Artists if you are duly subject to the application of the self-employment
statute. The Commission may also on its own volition start an examination of individual dossiers. For its advice, the Commission bases itself on a mix of indicators that you yourself must provide and that can possibly be verified through inspection. If the Commission of Artists concludes that you are registered incorrectly under the self-employed workers statute, it will advise you accordingly. This information will also be communicated to the NOSS and NISSE, plus the social inspection departments. In this way, the Commission can give a signal of a possible pseudo-independency. |
